The Waikouaiti Coast Heritage Centre is East Otago’s leading regional museum. In addition to a collection of over 19,000 items, it hosts an information centre, offers a genealogy research service & sells document and photographic reproductions. 
The gallery/gift shop offers a selection of paintings, craft work, souvenirs and gift lines, many made by talented local craftspeople.

Entry Fee
Entry to the gift shop, gallery and heritage display is free 
These services are located in the new building behind the old BNZ Bank building
Guided tours of the BNZ Bank are $5.00 per adult (free for children under 16 years old)
Please arrange tours at the rear building
